Care Advice
Once you receive your flowers from FLOWERS IN THE AVENUE We need to ensure that you can enjoy them for as long as possible.
All of our designs are supplied with instructions on how to enjoy them at their best.
When we arrive after a long journey we just want a nice long drink and to freshen up, your flowers will feel just the same. All hand tied bouquets are supplied with a cellophane bubble containing water, always remove the packaging over the sink so you don't look you've had a dip in the spa when you've finished!
Follow the instructions on the back of your message card and your flowers will have a long and happy life with you.
For Hand Tied Bouquets
To enjoy your flowers at their best:
- Prepare a clean vase with fresh water
- Add the sachet of flower food provided
- Remove the packaging from the flowers leaving the tie in place
- Diagonally cut at least 2cms off the flower stems
- Remove any foliage which will be below the water line
- Place the bouquet in the vase
- Avoid placing the vase in direct sunlight
- Do not place the vase over a radiator
- Top the vase up with fresh water as needed
For Arrangements in floral foam
To enjoy your flower arrangement at it's best:
- Place your arrangement carefully
- Avoid direct sunlight
- Do not place over a radiator
- Do not place directly onto furniture
- Water as needed
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Always remember not to leave candles unattended.
